SMBA Coaching!

Coach Anthony is the head coach of our SMBA 10U Club Team ! He leads our SMBA Speed and Agility training each Saturday and coaches are weekly skills clinics and camps! Dude has hops! Ask coach to dunk some time and be amazed!

Coach Brandi is from Lake Charles, Louisiana and played  at LMU. Prior to playing at LMU she was at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She graduated with a Masters in Educational Studies and herpassion is coaching and teaching the next generation of college athletes!

Coach Tyler is our guy! He has been playing basketball since he was four years old.  A highly touted varsity player at Culver City high school, this guard's speed and dribbling electrified everyone when he stepped on the court!  Currently playing at Santa Monica College,  he has  developed life lessons such as leadership and team work that he brings to each and every SMBA program! While continuing his playing career at Santa Monica Collège, he has moved on to a four year university playing basketball!  He has become a fantastic coach at SMBA!

One of SMBA's most popular coaches! Coach Brendan's basketball career has been a whose who of talent! Nike EYBL, Under Armour, Germany's 16U Olympic Training team and Adidas! A member of the Crossroads high school CIF state champions, he now plays with Division 1 SouthEast Missouri University!

Currently Yuuki is playing at Oberlin college and  the leader in Assist Turnover Ratio in Division lll! Yuuki is an accomplished point guard with millions of views on social media and was a member of the Crossroads High School CIF 2018 State Champions! A long time member rof the SMBA coaching staff he is electric at camp! 

A current collegiate player, Coach Elijah was a standout player at Santa Monica College and is now playing at a four year!

His enthusiam and love of the game translate into every camp he coaches and with our club teams!

Coach Lena is a current collegiate player at Emerson College! A Point Guard, she is tough as she is kind. She coaches our summer camps and skills clinics!

  In addition to Michael Jordan, Coach Slappy has provided skills training and advice to a host of professional athletes at some point in their careers and helped hundreds of high school male and female athletes acquire collegiate scholarships!

 Big Jay! This 6'6 small forward has been a force on the court and with SMBA! He is a leader at SMBA and one of our best trainers.  He played basketball  powerhouse high school Crossroads and was a member of the 2018 CIF state Champions! He continued his playing career at East LA College's and was highlighted in the "Last Chance U" television show on Netflix,  

Coach Tarron T.J Wiley is a full-time  trainer for  player development and skill training.  He trains a ton of players at the SMBA academy and elevates their game! Has been in the gym playing the game of basketball since he was three years old! A varsity starter at Rolling Hills prep, he furthered his talents  at Grace University in Omaha Nebraska. 

One of the most popular coaches at SMBA! Coach Ben had an outstanding high school career playing AAU basketball for Nike' s Cal Supreme and was instrumental in leading basketball powerhouse Crossroads school to a 2018 CIF state championship!
