SMBA Coaching!

Coach Jesse is our coordinator for our SMBA CREST afterschool basketball program and was the coordinator for our basketball summer camps! He coaches our 9U and 10U basketball teams as well as our camps and clinics!

His enthusiam and love of the game translate into every camp he coaches and with our club teams!

Coach Jay is a former member of the Crossroads varsity State Champions team!  His collegiate career saw him featured on Netflix's Last Chance U and has a long and wonderful history of supporting youth basketball through camps and clinics ! He is the head coach of our SMBA 14U team and  brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our SMBA programs!

Coach Max is our guy!  A  high school varsity player this guard's speed and dribbling was a highlight when he stepped on the court!  He played on the highly touted high school Cali gold 17u platinum division, which helped gain him multiple collegiate basketball offers to continue hooping after high school. As he continues his college education and basketball he brings leadership and teamwork to each and every SMBA program! He has jumped in coaching our Speed and Agility training, our SMBA weekly skills training and is the assistant coach on our 9U and 12U club basketball teams! In a short time,  he has become a fantastic coach at SMBA!

Coach Cooper 

Coach Cooper is running our weekly Speed & Agility Saturday trainings and head coach of our SMBA 12U Club Team. He brings a positive force to SMBA and his break down of the fundamentals at our weekly skills clinic has been perfect for our players!

Coach Alexis

played basketball for 2 years at Texas Tech University, then
transferred to UC Santa Barbara where she received a BA in Sociology.
She has  played professionally in Ireland and this past season she played professionally in Serbia. A returning coach this summer, Coach Alexis has lent her considerable basketball knowledge to our club teams and skills clinics weekly! Coach "A" is dedicated to developing fundamental skills and fast-paced awareness to prepare players for success at the next level. 

 Coach Tamba is a former Division 1 athlete who was a captain in his senior year. A multi sport athlete in high school, he is also the Head Coach for Culver City Flag Football. He has been training youth sports from ages 4 -18 for over 6 years and brings his passion and wealth of knowledge to SMBA! 

One of SMBA's most popular coaches! Coach Brendan's basketball career has been a whose who of talent! Nike EYBL, Under Armour, Germany's 16U Olympic Training team and Adidas! A member of the Crossroads high school CIF state champions, he now plays with Division 1 SouthEast Missouri University!

Coach Anthony  coaches are weekly skills clinics and camps! Dude has hops! Ask coach to dunk some time and be amazed!
